The Real Estate Awards that Have Meant the Most to Me
Awards season is here. Every year around this time, I find myself reflecting on the recognition that comes in from the previous year in real estate.
For a long time, we had all our "glass" displayed in our office. Trophies, plaques, the whole collection. And honestly? They did nothing for us. So we packed them up. They're sitting in a box somewhere.
But I kept four. And we see them every day in my office.
🏆 2020 Minneapolis Area Realtors Rising Star
🏆 2021 Twin Cities Real Producers Overcoming Award
🏆 2024 REMAX Results Shining Star Award
🏆 2025 Real Producers New Energy Award
None of these are about production. Not one. They celebrate the PERSON and that means everything to me.
Something shifted in me around 2019. I started pouring into my personal growth and my mental health in a way I never had before. And especially this past year, I read Worthy by Jamie Kern Lima and Let Them by Mel Robbins. Both of those books added tools to my belt I didn't even know I was missing.
How to not stay down when life gets hard. How to fill your life with people who lift you. How to genuinely love what you do, even when what you do is technically "selling houses" but is really about showing up in someone's life at a pivotal moment.
These awards don't exempt you from the hard seasons. We had one this year. We worked really hard. I earned some new worry wrinkles. And I'm still here. That's the whole point.
And to my peers and colleagues who voted for us for the Real Producers award, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You have no idea what that meant to me, especially after the year we had. So much was changing. There were moments I wasn't sure how we'd get through it, but by the grace of God, and the support of our family and our brokerage, we kept going. We made it to that stage. From the balcony. 😄
If you voted for us, if you've cheered us on, if you've been in our corner, I see you and I'm grateful for you. And if I don't know you yet? I'd like to. I'm a phone call or a text away. Always.
