Despite Katie’s wordy tendencies and B.A. in Writing Studies, creating her own bio has evidently stumped her. So here’s a handful of fun facts instead.

1. She handles the majority of marketing things for AGLG: newsletters, podcasts, blog posts, social media, you name it.

2. She’s a Minneapolis native and a UMN Duluth alum.

3. If you ask her, “What’s your favorite ——?” she will stare into the middle distance while attempting to categorize and rank every possible answer in order to find her one ultimate favorite. She will then give up and shrug.

4. She likes books. Specifically dictionaries, Jane Austen novels, and middle grade adventures.

5. If needed, she could probably recite/sing the entirety of the hit Broadway musical A Year with Frog and Toad.

6. It’s been several years, but she still can’t stop thinking about the time she saw someone walking around with a Canada goose on a leash.
